10 Months Today
Destin is 10 Months old today! I'm in between running some fun scripts at work and I thought I would pop on to write about it in case tonight gets too busy.
He's doing his "push-ups" more and more, and still figuring out how to crawl. It's fun to watch him go after things. In his face you can see that he's thinking, "Okay, I have these arms and legs for some reason, how can I get them to work together?" He scoots a little bit, makes a little bit of headway and then defaults to the mode of transportation he knows best, his roll.
He'll get there. Sheri and I are enjoying watching him do his antics.
The weekend was good. Destin hung out with Grandma and Grandpa Stackpole. Sheri went down there on Saturday and they watched him Saturday night when Kristin (BK) and she went to the Terri Clark concert at the Rose.
I was up at Cottonwood Lake for some camping with some friends. It was fun, although a little soggy. The rain rolled in the late afternoon each day. Makes you thankful that you packed that rain coat and sweatshirt "just in case".
Uncle Jann, Gunnar(Jann's chocolate lab), and I hung out with my cousins Stephen and Terry most of the day on Saturday. Terry is Stephen's 18 month old son. It was neat for me to watch him. A free glimpse into the future. Not that I'm in a rush, these past 10 months have gone too fast. Just kind of fun to let my mind wonder.
